Zebra Crossing

Our campaign has delivered two new Zebra Crossings, one on Widney Road near to Mill Lane situated on an existing raised road hump, and one on Tilehouse Green Lane between Morgrove Avenue and Hallcroft Way which is situated on a newly constructed raised road hump.

Additional improvements along the footways of Widney Road and Tilehouse Green Lane are at the crossing points, at side road junctions with footway surfacing and the installation of tactile paving to aid vulnerable road users travelling along these routes.

Cllr Diana Holl-Allen says:

After years of pressure, we have achieved these extra road safety features which will be of enormous help to all pedestrians, especially schoolchildren and senior citizens.
