Council Leader, Karen Grinsell

Following the recent court ruling on the Epping Forest migrant hotel, Solihull Borough Conservatives are actively reviewing the case involving the hotel in Solihull. The legal and planning position is being carefully examined, and we will provide updates as the situation develops. We are committed to ensuring our residents’ voices are heard.

In the meantime, we are pushing for urgent works to be carried out on the building to restore it and ensure it no longer remains an eyesore in our community.

Cllr Karen Grinsell, Leader of Solihull Council, said:

Solihull Residents deserve to feel proud of where they live. We are taking this issue seriously and will not stand by while this building continues to fall into disrepair. That’s why we are working hard to address this issue, both in terms of the building’s current state, and it’s long term future. We have been and will continue to push for renovation works to be carried out. We are exploring all options to ensure the community’s interests come first.
