Solihull Borough Conservatives are delighted that the recent Ofsted inspection of Children’s Services has rated Solihull as GOOD.
This result marks a major milestone in what has been a substantial improvement journey over recent years. It is reassuring and encouraging to see the dedication, professionalism and commitment of staff, partners and councillors recognised, and to know that the hard work to improve outcomes for children and families is paying off.
Cllr Karen Grinsell, Leader of Solihull Council and Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, said: “This is fantastic news for Solihull. Achieving a GOOD Ofsted rating reflects the relentless focus we have placed on improving services for our most vulnerable children. I want to thank our staff and partners for their dedication and determination, this outcome is something they should be very proud of. While there is always more to do, this inspection shows we are firmly moving in the right direction.”
