James has been a teacher for seven years. He started out teaching English abroad before coming back to the UK to train as a History Teacher. Now, he is Head of Citizenship at a school in inner city Birmingham. Since moving to Olton several years ago with his young family, James has worked hard to tackle speeding, improve road safety and to maintain the appearance of our community. He has also spearheaded a graffiti removal campaign and regularly participates in community litter picks.
James says; “I am extremely proud to live in Olton. It has such a strong sense of community, with so many hardworking volunteers giving up their time to make it the best it can be. Solihull is a great place to live and work – but we must work hard to keep it that way.”
