Dear Resident

It has been an honour to serve as your local Councillor for the past 12 years. I am also Deputy Leader of Solihull Council and have spearheaded initiatives that have positively impacted our community.

One of my proudest achievements was leading the campaign to bring back the Minor Injuries Unit at Solihull Hospital, which had incredible support, garnering 11000+ signatures on a petition I launched - this demonstrates the importance of accessible healthcare in our area.

In addition to healthcare, road safety has been a top priority. I’ve helped secure three new zebra crossings on Solihull Road, Ralph Road and Blossomfield Road to help make our roads safer.

Furthermore, I am very committed to community engagement, leading the Friends of Jacey Park Group. Working together with volunteers, we have undertaken numerous projects, including monthly litter picking, tree planting and pond restoration to enhance our natural habitats.

On community safety, I have actively participated in groups like Street Watch to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour head-on. Together, we have made significant strides in addressing concerns around theft, drug use, faulty street-lights, speeding, inappropriate parking and graffiti.

Your concerns have always been my top priority, and I am proud to have helped stop inappropriate developments such as on a former supermarket site, as well as a gigantic phone mast on Solihull Road, ensuring our community’s character is protected.
