Solihull Borough Councillor - Blythe
  • Borough Councillors

Dear Resident

It is a privilege to represent my home ward as your councillor. I have lived in Monkspath for 39 years and have very close connections with Cheswick Green, Tidbury Green, and Dickens Heath, where family members live. In short – your concerns are my own concerns.

I commit my full time to serving as your councillor and have spent my working life serving the public; retiring as a police inspector from West Midlands Police. I feel it is my duty to put as much back into the local community as I am able and I have done this through being a long standing school governor and sponsoring sports teams and local arts. I also collect for charity organisations and was instrumental in establishing collections for local food banks during the initial Covid pandemic.

Whether it was helping bring about the Armed Forces Community Garden, more Average Speed Cameras, or the new Strategic Environment Contract, I am proud to serve our community and pledge I will always work hard and continue to ensure that all residents of Blythe ward have the best representation in Solihull.
